The Mothership touches down in Georgia today and helps Atlanta women cast their ballot
WHAT: Peanut, the social network connecting women throughout all stages of motherhood, launches The Mothership today. The free shuttle service had one single aim: to get women and families to the polling stations. Over the course of seven hours, The Mothership successfully transported women and families to the polling stations in Fulton County, Atlanta.
WHY: New research in September 2020 revealed 73% of mothers around the country were worried about voter suppression. The state of Georgia is notorious for having high levels of voter suppression and so Atlanta became The Mothership’s first port of call.
