Spanish Revolution hits Windsor with New Concept La Tasca

Windsor was hit by a Spanish revolution today as the town hosted the launch of the first new concept La Tasca Spanish Tapas Bar & Kitchen in the country. To mark the launch, the town centre of Windsor was transformed into a spontaneous flamenco fiesta this morning, with more than twenty Spanish dancers bursting into a surprise routine outside Windsor castle.

The new La Tasca Spanish Tapas Bar & Kitchen brings a host of changes and new experiences to Windsor, including a new, chrome-topped bar specially designed to bring the authentic ‘dining at the bar’ concept to the UK. The tapas menu has been redesigned from scratch, with the number of dishes halved and new, fresh ingredients sourced from Spanish suppliers. La Tasca Windsor will now offer breakfast from 8.30 to hungry commuters and tourists and Segafredo coffee – Spain’s favourite artisanal coffee brand – will also be served all day.

  • The La Tasca flamenco dancers surprised commuters and tourists at three separate locations in Windsor
  • Onlookers were then given special lunch and dinner offers by members of the La Tasca Windsor team
  • The wine list and cocktail menu has also been redesigned, offering a range of quality Spanish wines and exciting classic cocktails
  • The new La Tasca is now open and taking reservations, and details of daily value-added offers can be found at the new look website

Richard De Kauwe, general manager at La Tasca Windsor commented:

“Anyone visiting the new La Tasca will be stunned by the changes we’ve made. This is an entirely new concept, spanning the whole customer experience. Our aim is to deliver a sincere Spanish tapas experience to Windsor.”

“We have introduced dining at the bar, a fresh, quality breakfast and a number of daily value-added offers, all of which combine with a new, radical contemporary interior design style to create a unique experience for customers throughout the day.”

One onlooker, Kate Burn commented:

“It was a pretty incredible sight – all of a sudden there was a flash of red, then another, then all of a sudden there were dozens of synchronised flamenco dancers everywhere I looked. It was pretty impressive – and certainly not something I expected to see on a morning stroll through Windsor.”
