New headquarters marks record growth in 2012 for KashFlow

Cloud-based software business, KashFlow continues dramatic growth despite economic situation

KashFlow Accounting Software, the pioneering cloud-based technology company, has moved to new premises this week following record growth in 2012, continuing to double in size year on year. The new office in Bermondsey is twice the size of the company’s previous workspace, accommodating a recent influx of new recruits and providing space for further growth in 2013 and beyond.

  • The award-winning SaaS company has avoided turning to outside investment or IPOs to fund expansion
  • KashFlow has made the conscious decision not to flock to Silicon Roundabout by establishing a base in Bermondsey
  • KashFlow is the only cloud-based accounting software company based in London with a primary focus on the British SME community
  • The growing team has been bolstered by a number of senior hires in recent months, expanding the team by 16 to a total of 34

Duane Jackson, founder and CEO at KashFlow commented:

“Our growth in 2012 outstrips that of any other year, which means we’re clearly bucking the trend in an economic downturn. A substantial increase in new subscribers, continued growth in team numbers and a fantastic rate of client retention meant moving to new premises became imperative, and it’s great to finally be in our new home.”

Duane Jackson continued:

“At this point in time, it doesn’t make sense for us to be based in Silicon Roundabout. While there are advantages to being based there, like networking events and access to other startups, avoiding the high rents makes more business sense to us. We’re not exactly a million miles away and we feel many premises are over-charging for what they feel has become a vanity postcode. The Government is right about ‘Tech City’ being much more than just a roundabout – there’s a whole city full of startups out there and I think more of us will start to look outside of the Old Street area as we continue to grow.”
