Hotels.com announces new Double Stamp scheme for post-lockdown holiday planning

The offer allows guests to book now for future travel and get to a reward night twice as fast on stays through next summer

Daydreaming travelers have long been anticipating when they may be able to holiday again. While trips abroad may still be on hold, Hotels.com® is launching its most rewarding offer ever to help those who are counting down the days until they can enjoy a well-deserved staycation.

This global offer is unlimited to anyone who books a trip during the booking window of 14th-24th May 2020, so travelers can book as many trips as they wish and earn double stamps. Worried about your plans changing? Book rooms with a refundable rate for hassle-free changes.

Whilst people may not be planning the international trips just yet, they can still enjoy adventures right on their doorstep. Need some inspiration for your double stamp summer staycation? Look no further.

Explore dramatic coastlines in Knockvologan, Scotland – Dip in the sea at Knockvologan Beach and, aside from the slightly chillier climes, you’d mistake this paradise for a slice of the Caribbean. Boasting acres of sandy bays at low tide, intrepid explorers can even access nearby Erriad island for total solitude. If lockdown wasn’t enough…

Stroll through the charming Somerset town of Clevedon – This polished Victorian seaside resorts, draped over seven limestone hills next to the Bristol channel, makes for an idyllic weekend away. Take a leisurely walk along the pebble beaches or Poet’s Walk – but make sure to plan an ice cream stop at the town’s Grade I pier.

Soak in the history at Tyneham, Dorset – Visitors only need to pause in this tiny ‘lost’ village to be transported back to 1943, which was evacuated during WWII and has been deserted ever since. Along with some of the original buildings, a restored church and school, there’s also a pleasant walk to nearby Worbarrow Bay – a Jurassic Coast World Heritage Site.

Go fossil hunting at Robin Hood’s Bay in Yorkshire – A charming little fishing village and bay set in the North Yorkshire Moors, which is famous for the many fossils found scattered along the beach. It’s the perfect spot for adults and children alike to explore the picturesque scenery and coastal paths.

Take a drive like no other at The Dark Hedges, Ballymoney, NI – This avenue of beech trees in Country Antrim forms an atmospheric tunnel, used to film Game of Thrones, and is the perfect location to rival any beach Instagram pic. And, it’s only a 20-minute drive from Giant’s Causeway too.

Double Stamp Scheme

How it works:

As a Hotels.com Rewards™ member, every night you stay at eligible properties, you collect one stamp. Once you collect 10 stamps, you get one reward night in your account. With this new offer launched today, you’ll be seeing double. For example, if you book five nights, you’ll collect 10 stamps. That already puts one reward night in your account to redeem any time, at any destination.

This deal is unlimited during the booking window (5/14 – 5/24), and you can book hassle-free by choosing a refundable rate. All stays must be taken between 1st June 2020 and August 31st 2021.

  • Join now or sign into your com Rewards™ account to earn stamps when you book and complete your stay.
  • Select the “pay now” option on a property you like. Pro Tip: If you think your travel plans may change, we recommend you to book a property with a refundable rate.
  • Enter the coupon code at checkout in the app or on the website (code: RWD2X2020). The nights will be credited 72 hours after your stay.

Please note that this offer is only valid if you book between Thursday, May 14, and Sunday, May 24, 2020, so call your travel buddy, pick a place (anywhere but home), and rack up the rewards.
