Aquatic Youth Club launches in Dorking Sports Centre
Dorking Sports Centre has launched an Aquatic Youth Club starting Thursday 12th January at 4.30-5.30pm.
- Aimed at child swimmers who are over the age of eight, each session will be fully supervised by swimming instructors and provide opportunities to try a variety of aquatic activities, such as waterpolo, lifesaving and diving
- The classes are a standard children’s swim price of £2.15 and the centre recommends people to book a place in advance
Ceri Grimwood, Contract Manager at Dorking Sports Centre, commented:
The Aquatic Youth Club is not only a fun way for kids to build their confidence and ability in the water, but also a great opportunity to make friends across a wide social spectrum. We pride ourselves on encouraging young people to get involved in a number of activities and clubs.
Clubs like these epitomise our aim to get the community to come together in ways that are fun, innovative and great for health and personal wellbeing.
