Hailo introduces celebratory cabs to welcome Princess Charlotte

  • Leading cabbie app, Hailo, has a brand new look to celebrate the birth of the Royal baby

  • Kate and Wills also offered spruced-up cab to escort the family around town

  • Free cab rides for passengers to celebrate

To celebrate the arrival of the Her Royal Highness Princess Charlotte of Cambridge, London’s best-loved taxi app has given their traditional black cab a facelift.

Hailo has emblazoned ‘Charlotte’ across a limited edition number of its cabs and added a brand new ‘royal baby on board’ motif to celebrate the birth and encourage expectant women, new mothers and women with young children to use the safety and comfort of a Hailo taxi when travelling around.

The leading cab app is also offering the Royal couple a Hailo carriage fit for a King or Queen to escort them back to the Sandringham estate.

Gary Bramall from Hailo commented: “Our cabs are ideal for new mothers who have lots of bags and a big prams to carry around with them and we are always on hand to help the new parents get around the City safely and quickly.”

Additionally, Hailo has released a brand new code to celebrate the latest addition to the British monarchy giving passengers a journey on them. Users simply need to type CHARLOTTE15 into their in-app wallet to receive a free cab ride*.

Bramall added: “We’re a British born business so wanted to mark the birth of the new princess  with celebratory cabs and a free ride on us.”
