About BrewDog

We were bored of the industrially brewed lagers and stuffy ales that dominate the UK market. We decided the best way to fix this undesirable predicament was to brew our own beers. Consequently in April 2007 BrewDog was born. Both only 24 at the time, we leased a building, got some scary bank loans, spent all our money on stainless steel and started making some hardcore beers.

Morrisons joins BrewDog’s craft beer revolution

BrewDog, the iconoclastic Scottish brewery will have three of its craft beers available in Morrisons stores from this week. The new deal, which sees three BrewDog brands on Morrisons shelves nationwide, strikes another blow for the brewer’s ‘craft beer revolution’ in the UK and follows national listings with Tesco and Sainsbury’s supermarkets. Outside the UK, BrewDog has also expanded its off-trade presence in Denmark, the Netherlands and Australia this month.

  • Morrisons now stocks three of BrewDog’s most acclaimed beers which are Punk IPA, 5AM Saint and Trashy Blonde. All of which carry BrewDog’s bold and unorthodox branding
  • This expansion in the off-trade has been mirrored abroad, with BrewDog beers now stocked in over 19 territories worldwide, including America, Australia and throughout Europe
  • BrewDog has also secured listings with the Netherlands largest supermarket, Albert Heijn, Danish supermarket giant Coop-Denmark, Australian retailer Dan Murphy and they now sell to the Ax-foods chain in Sweden and Rema 1000 in Norway, resulting in vast supermarket listings in 6 countries
  • BrewDog is Scotland’s largest independent brewery and is now producing over 500,000 bottles per month and have a growth of 250% this year alone.
