It’s a kind of magic: Blippar brings Pepsi Max bottles to life with TV magician Dynamo
Pepsi Max launches Blippar enabled bottles featuring exclusive magic from Dynamo.
Pepsi MAX bottles have had a magical transformation using visual recognition app Blippar and a bit of magic from Bradford-born TV magician Dynamo. From July, as part of its ‘Live for Now’ campaign, Pepsi Max has teamed up with Dynamo to give customers a unique augmented reality experience when they blipp a physical bottle of Pepsi MAX.

- Pepsi MAX drinkers simply download the free Blippar app onto their iPhone, Android or BlackBerry 10 devices then hold their smartphone, with Blippar running, over the Pepsi MAX logo on 600ml bottles with the Blippar call to action.
- Drinkers can also blipp Dynamo’s face on participating 330ml cans and 2l bottles.
- Dynamo magically appears before their eyes as the bottle comes to life. The blipp reveals Dynamo from inside the bottle and gives Pepsi MAX drinkers the chance to perform a number of pieces of magic with him.
- Following the magic, drinkers will then be invited to see more exclusive content from an augmented reality menu which also enables customers to visit the Pepsi Max website, watch video content from Dynamo and enter an on-pack competition to win prizes including an Audi car, Sony mobile phones and TVs. There are also two thousand 600ml bottles of Pepsi MAX up for grabs.
