La Tasca

La Tasca adds a slice of Spain to afternoon tea

Injecting some Spanish flair into traditional afternoon tea, La Tasca Restaurants is celebrating the Diamond Jubilee with the nation by adding its own twist to all things British.

  • Swapping classic egg sandwiches for Tortilla Española and cream scones for its traditional and deliciously tasting Churros, La Tasca is intertwining Spanish culture with a tradition that is loved by Brits nationwide
  • Swapping clotted cream and bunting for paella and sangria, the national brand will be serving afternoon tea with a twist at selected restaurants during the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee this June
  • Adding a touch of vintage Spain with Codorniu sampling in addition to the sincerely Spanish afternoon tea, diners at La Tasca will experience a cultural combination over the bank holiday period
  • Showcasing one of Spain’s most exquisite sparkling wines from one of the world’s oldest family-owned businesses, the country’s preferred blend of coffee, Segafredo coffee, will also be served all day, giving Brits a true taste of España

Antonio Bennett, Executive Chef at La Tasca Restaurants, said:

Great food starts with the very best ingredients. We source much of our produce from regional suppliers in Spain and then lovingly prepare great dishes because we know how important traceability is to our customers in the UK. The Diamond Jubilee is an occasion for us to show how our own culture, customs and traditions can combine with British celebrations to create a true Spanish style fiesta.
